The Narnia Movie and a question
Feb. 20th, 2006 10:01 amIf you have seen the Narnia movie (the new one), please comment with your opinion as to where the White Witch hit Edmund when he was wounded in the battle.
I would also like to take a moment to point out that, if you ever find yourself fighting for your life with a sword and shield, your shield does absolutely no good being waved wildly between a useful position and off to the side where it can't block anything. And if you ever find yourself trying to kill someone with as horrible shieldwork as Peter Pevensie, please take advantage of the huge openings he left. *
Mostly it was cool, except that I had some major issues with the characterization of Susan and Peter until the middle. Lucy was adorable, though, and Tumnus and the beavers were very cool.
On another note, desperate times call for a change of faith, and I have been forced to once again believe in chapstick. I know, I know.
*I wasn't even thinking about the realism of the combat, or trying to criticize it, but it was impossible to ignore.
